Local implementation, not product supply alone

OHM Healthcare's role is to support the Lifemotion ECMO pathway locally — coordinating implementation, providing Clinical Engineering service, and acting as the single regional point of contact for the system across Australia and New Zealand.

  • Clinical EngineeringInstallation support, commissioning and first-line troubleshooting, extending the same service model already used for ventilators and other critical care equipment.
  • Quality & complianceISO 9001:2015 certified and AS3551-compliant (the Australian standard for medical equipment testing), applied consistently across OHM's biomedical service portfolio.
  • Existing health service networkAlready supports health services including NSW, QLD, ACT, TAS, NT and WA Health, and paediatric hospitals such as Royal Children's Hospital and Perth Children's Hospital, through its existing critical care distribution and service business.
  • Training & demonstrationDemonstration and wet-lab sessions are being scheduled with ECMO centres across Australia as part of the Lifemotion ECMO launch programme.
  • Service, maintenance & lifecyclePlanned service and maintenance, lifecycle planning, and documentation and regulatory coordination.
  • Escalation & technical supportOngoing technical support and escalation, working alongside hospitals and the manufacturer.

What sets local support apart

  • Single regional point of contact for product, technical and service enquiries
  • Local Clinical Engineering team, not an offshore service desk
  • Established relationships across major Australian health networks
  • Calls answered by a real person with direct expertise in the device, not a call centre
