One coordinated ECMO platform, not a single component
The Lifemotion platform brings together a console, a centrifugal pump, a membrane oxygenator and an integrated circuit, all built around the same continuous circuit architecture. Specifications are drawn from Lifemotion's published product documentation and are subject to the locally approved Instructions for Use.

Accessory
Lifemotion ECMO Trolley
Complete trolley-based platform integrating the console and circuit for a full-performance bedside configuration.
Accessory
Carbon Fibre Support Frame
Lightweight support frame carrying the pump driver and battery for compact, mobile configurations.
Transport
Transport-Ready ECMO Backpack
Portable carry configuration for the core module, supporting retrieval and inter-hospital transfer within approved transport configurations.
Three layers of pump redundancy
An integrated redundancy architecture is designed to preserve ECMO support through automatic backup and direct manual control, whenever needed.
- Main pump drive motor — primary centrifugal pump control with integrated safety monitoring and real-time feedback.
- Backup pump drive motor — a dedicated, independently powered backup, controlled via the main unit or battery-powered driver.
- Manual hand crank (optional) — a fully mechanical final layer, independent of electrical supply.
Phosphorylcholine-coated surfaces
A phosphorylcholine coating on blood-contacting surfaces is intended to reduce thrombogenic potential, support haemocompatibility and reduce the inflammatory response. The circuit is DEHP-free.
