EINZ 2026: OHM Healthcare and Lifemotion in Queenstown

OHM Healthcare and Lifemotion were proud to support EINZ 2026: A New Hope — the 4th edition of the EINZ Conference — held at QT Hotel Queenstown, New Zealand, 10–12 November 2026.

What EINZ is

EINZ brings together intensivists, ECMO and ICU nurses, perfusionists, surgeons and allied health for three days of genuine, working-level conversation about ECMO and critical care. The programme includes simulation, Think Tank Teaching sessions, unpublished innovation from leading centres, and faculty from more than twelve cardiac centres around the world.

What makes EINZ different from many conference formats is what happens between the sessions. Speakers stay. Questions get honest answers. The relationships formed at EINZ tend to continue as working relationships — which is exactly the kind of community an ECMO programme in ANZ needs access to.

Lifemotion at EINZ

Our clinical engineering team attended with the Lifemotion ECMO platform — available in Australia and New Zealand through OHM Healthcare, and supported locally by our clinical engineering team.

The Lifemotion ECMO system is registered on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG). Supply in New Zealand is subject to NZ regulatory requirements.

For teams at EINZ who had not yet seen the platform in person, the conference provided an opportunity to work through the system directly — the console, the pump architecture, the transport configuration, and the integrated monitoring — with OHM's clinical engineering team on hand for the technical conversation.

Following ANZCP on the Gold Coast

EINZ followed OHM Healthcare's attendance at the ANZCP (Australian and New Zealand College of Perfusionists) conference on the Gold Coast — the annual gathering of clinical perfusionists across the region.

The ANZCP conference gave us the opportunity to introduce the Lifemotion ECMO platform to the perfusion community and to hear directly about how ECMO services are set up and resourced across different centres. Those conversations — about system-of-care questions, about retrieval capability, about what a new platform introduction actually requires — shaped how we approach demonstration and support discussions.

Wet-lab sessions in Sydney

Alongside EINZ, OHM Healthcare planned wet-lab sessions in Sydney for November. If your team would like to put the Lifemotion platform through a hands-on session in a controlled environment, contact us at sovit@ohmhealthcare.com.au or sales@ohmhealthcare.com.au.

Demonstrations and further enquiries

OHM Healthcare is scheduling demonstrations and wet-lab sessions with ECMO centres across Australia and New Zealand. If you lead a perfusion, ICU or retrieval service and would like to arrange a session for your team, we would welcome the conversation.

Contact OHM Healthcare to arrange a Lifemotion ECMO demonstration or wet-lab session.
